Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop lets you assist your virtual pet in building a business. Ten different shops act as unique minigames in which you must control your Tamagotchi character and assist customers. Three different playable characters are available, all with different personalities. The game also features stylus support to let you take advantage of the touch-screen features of the DS. Also, the multiplayer mode lets players swap in-game items.

Modeled after the Black and White series for the PC, Black and White Creatures lets you to use a giant creature and the unique characteristics of the Nintendo DS to rule over a primitive tribe. This version of the game contains 10 different species of creatures that can be trained using stylus and voice commands. Explore eight different islands with varied terrains that contain hidden items to be discovered. In addition to single-player, you can also play against other gamers with the Nintendo DS wireless link.

The Nintendo DS installment of Harvest Moon displays the action and interaction sequences on the upper screen while the lower screen serves as an interface with command buttons to point and tap. The bottom screen is also the relay area for messages and conversations. To take advantage of the stylus, Marvelous has programmed “direct” interaction with animals where players may point at cows, sheep, and horses and perform farm chores on them. Those sheep ain’t shearing themselves. Gamers who have either GBA version of “Friends of Mineral Town” may plug it in simultaneously with Korobokkle to unlock bonuses.
